Movimentos de Samba’s founder, Iya Silva moved to the Carolinas in 2008 from California. It was 2009 when she formed the first samba company in the region. Since then MDS’ highly trained dancers have provided high-quality entertainment for many special occasions including A Night in Rio and many other high profile events. We are available for hire for your special event; parties, weddings, anniversaries, festival, shows, events, fundraisers and more!
